Fresh for Vinted is an unofficial browser extension. It is not made by, affiliated with, or endorsed by Vinted.

What the extension stores

To show you which listings are new since your last visit, Fresh for Vinted keeps a small history in your browser only (Chrome’s local extension storage):

• the ids of Vinted listings you have scrolled past or opened, when you first and last saw them, and the price you saw;
• for each search you run on Vinted, the ids of listings you saw in it and when you last visited it. The search is identified by a one-way code (hash), not by the words you searched for;
• for listings you opened, the “Uploaded” time Vinted showed, used to estimate upload times of other listings;
• a one-way code (hash) made from a listing’s seller id, title and size/condition, with its id and price, used to recognise a listing that was taken down and put up again;
• your settings.

It does not store your Vinted login, password, messages, payment details, name, address, or anything you type.

What the extension sends

Nothing. Fresh for Vinted makes no network requests of its own: it has no server, no analytics and no tracking. It only reads the Vinted pages you are already viewing.

Sharing

Your data is never sold, shared, or transferred to anyone, because it never leaves your device.

Keeping and deleting your data

• Listings you haven’t seen for about 6 months are deleted automatically.
• “Clear history” in the extension’s popup deletes everything immediately.
• Uninstalling the extension deletes all of its data.
